The Mainstay of MVE
Tom Butler, owner and founder of MVE, began gaining experience in the early 1990s while working on the research and development team for the CR662 Road-Mix asphalt machine. While gaining knowledge of all Cedarapids/Terex asphalt machines and specializing in the CR662RM, Tom accepted a proposal in 2005 and became Ohio’s newest Cedarapids/Terex Asphalt Machine dealership. That was the beginning for Mr. Butler, and from there, he expanded his company and his experience.
A New Road and Smooth Journey
In January of 2011, MVE became the rebuild center for Cedarapids/Terex of North America and Canada. In 2013, Cedarapids/Terex was sold to Bomag Americas. Once that sale was final, Bomag discontinued the rebuild program. This made Mohican Valley Equipment an independent Cedarapids/Terex rebuild company. We have since expanded to also provide our customers with preventive maintenance and parts sales for asphalt machines—including our MVE-exclusive part upgrades and certification as a Cummins dealer with off-road technicians.
