Mohican Valley Equipment’s story started in 2005, but our experience comes from long before that. Tom Butler, the founder and owner of MVE, started in the early 1990’s working directly with Cedarapids. While there, Tom began on the research and development of the CR662 Road Mix Transfer Machine. Mohican Valley Equipment’s story started in 2005, but our experience comes from long before that. Tom Butler, the founder and owner of MVE, started in the early 1990’s working directly with Cedarapids. While there, Tom began on the research and development of the CR662 Road Mix Transfer Machine. While working hard throughout the years with Cedarapids, Tom accepted a proposal in 2005. Tom then became Ohio’s newest Cedarapids Asphalt Paver dealership. That started it, and from there we began growing and expanding.
Our Growth & Expansion
Following the growth and expansion of MVE, in January 2011, we became the rebuild center for Terex/Cedarapids for North America and Canada. In 2013, Terex/Cedarapids Road-Building sold to Bomag Americas. After the sale, Bomag discontinued their rebuild program, which made Mohican Valley Equipment an independent company, and pursued the rebuild industry.
