At Mohican Valley Equipment we work as a team with previous experience in mechanics, operators, laborers, and equipment managers. With over 30 years of experience in the road construction industry, our team understands the importance of properly operating equipment on the job site.
In the 1990's Mohican Valley Equipment Owner, Tom Butler was an Asphalt Maintenance Manager of a large Ohio based company. During this time he worked with Cedarapids and R&D on the Cedarapids transfer machines. In 1999 Cedarapids was acquired by TEREX. Tom was later approached by Cedarapids President, Mark Hunt who offered Tom to become a new Cedarapids dealer. Tom accepted.
IN 2005 Mohican Valley Equipment was built from the ground up. Up until 2010 Tom continued to sell Cedarapids Machines, but in the meantime was creating upgrades and rebuilding the 662 transfer machines. In January 2011, Mohican Valley Equipment became the Cedarapids road-building rebuild center for North America and Canada.
